FUEL POVERTY – WESTERN POWER

Carers Federation have partnered up Western Power Distribution (WPD) and Nottingham Energy Partnership (NEP) to provide support to families affected by fuel poverty.

Fuel poverty– has been an issue of national focus recently, with the hardship brought by the COVID-19 Pandemic, coupled with rising fuel costs. It has forced more and more families to confront the realities of unaffordable energy bills. Nottingham Energy Partnership are a charitable organisation who work to provide individuals with support in reducing their fuel and energy costs and increasing their household energy efficiency.

Extra Support:

Our Partnership with Western Power Distribution has been extended until June 2022 which means we are able to provide some extra support for your families!

Should you be struggling to keep warm during at this particular time, please do not hesitate in contacting us as we may be able to offer various items. This would not include fuel vouchers or financial support but could possibly include energy saving bulbs, draft excluders, hot water bottles etc.

In addition we also offer families a FREE online, interactive Energy Workshop.

The workshops are ran by Nottingham Energy Partnership

And will provide Tips on how to save money on your fuel bills as well as learn about the services / grants which are available.
